Cabled Baby Blanket

Skill Level: intermediate beginner

Instructor: Marie Schurk

This knitting workshop will explore an intermediate skill for those of us that want our knitting to be a little more intricate. Learn step-by-step instructions for creating a simple cable. Class time will involve demonstration, helpful tips, and discussion, along with studio time for one-on-one assistance. Students will provide their own needles and yarn of their choice for this project, and will receive a cabling needle in class, yours to keep! Two sessions, spread a week apart, will allow students to bring their projects to completion.

Recommended Materials:

* Lion Brand "Pound of Love" yarn in any color (available at Michael's), or other yarn of choice (~1000 yrds required)

* US 8, 5mm knitting needles, 12inch or circular

Weds., Jan 25 & Feb. 1, 6pm-8pm

Min. 4 students, Max 10
